GET_INvolved program for me was a great experience and summer adventure

GET_INvolved program for me was a great experience and summer adventure. It allowed me to extend my knowledge and interest in high-energy physics and to take part in a team of highly passionate scientists, with whom I have the opportunity to work after the mobility. Practices at GSI are a great occasion to meet outstanding experts and to see experiments such as HADES or NUSTAR closely. The precious experience was the possibility to work closely with the scientific team. It allowed me to see what the work of a scientist in a research complex looks like. However GET_INvolved is not only about studying and carrier possibilities, it also allows for meeting new cultures and people. It is also a great occasion for sightseeing in western Germany.

 

 

 

GET_INvolved with FAIR is a great opportunity for a young passionate physicist. It allowed me to become part of a highly enthusiastic scientist who guided me through the domain of high-energy physics. They helped me find my topic of research that I am continuing to study after the practices. Stay at GSI also allows for meeting outstanding experts that are very eager to share their knowledge or to show experiments they are taking part in. However, GET_Involved is only a career opportunity, but also a great adventure. For participants, there are many organized activities. The important practical aspect of the program is help given by organizers that greatly lower the number of formalities and organization of different practice aspects (starting with the travel, by looking for tutors and topics for practices and organization of meeting with experts.
